Neighbors. Coxie is the most terrifying dog I've probably ever met. Every time me or Aurdrey opens the back door he runs over and does the same vicious bark. The polish owner claims he's sweet but I am positive that if I ever tried to touch him he'd rip the flesh off my hand.

This is Audrey. I moved into a new apartment in greenpoint. It's so beautiful; the nicest place by far I've ever lived in new york. But the best part is the two guys I am living with have a precious dog named Audrey. She's a mutt, part hound and part chow, not exactly sure of the specifics. It doesn't matter; she sleeps with me in my bed, always gets excited to see me when I come home and cleas up all the crumbs in the apartment. I love her..

We met him in the mountains of utah were we camped out for a couple days back in July. This hippie dude would drive himself and his dog up there every morning and go fly fishing. the dog was great. plus he really worked it for da camera.

I started helping out a little bit at an animal shelter in the lower east side. The puppies are really sweet even though people were mean to them which makes them the ultimate troopers.

We met these two gems in arizona I think. The puppy was SO cute. Nicky and I were enchanted, to say the least.

This is D-O-G. that's his name.

And this is Rufus!

we found this poor guy in tennessee. he must have been left behind by his owners because he was all alone and i think probably died soon after we left. we gave him water and he lounged around with us all day as we shot. when we left it was really sad because I knew there was nothing we could do for him. I wanted to name him precious but everyone kept calling him coujo. :(

I went on a road trip this summer and tried to take photos of some of the dogs I met along the way. So here are some puppies from all over the USA. more to come!

I was reading about Jeff Koon's public art installation, Puppy, and then I stumbled upon this genius artist. Her name is Sonja Britz and I think I'm in love with her, or at least her paintings. She did her first drawing at AGE 3, of a fucking elephant. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do...
