Time at the Krebs family farm is one of the few occasions I feel no guilt using my newish fujifilm instax cam. On the contrary, it is one of the only places where I feel guilty if I do not wake at dawn to quietly observe the animals' morning routines. Each have their own incredibly complex (in terms of organization) yet simple (in nature) quirky rituals to guide them through their morning. It's so much fun to watch the chickens walk, single-filed, from the coop to the feeding pen. They are so serious! Breakfast, man; it's so unifying. The piglet and the billy goats and the chickens all eat in peaceful silence; brought together for a few precious moments by their love for breakfast.
